An exciting opportunity has arisen at FRP Technologies Ltd, based at our office in Coleshill. We work across multiple sectors and provide products and services, including prototyping, to the medical, automotive and aerospace industries and we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Automotive Team.
We are recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator who will work as part of the manufacturing & logistics team, You will be responsible for arranging and processing incoming and outgoing parts in order to meet both internal and customer deadlines. This will include:
Planning and communicating incoming and outgoing deliveries and recording details of incoming and outgoing parts;- Contacting suppliers to confirm shipping dates and notifying Project Teams of any late shipments;
- Providing details of incoming shipments to Project, Quality Control and Logistics Teams;
- Confirming wherever possible in advance of arrival that parts due in match the line items documented within internal systems;
- Managing day to day relationships with suppliers and reporting back to the Quality Team on supplier performance;
- Taking receipt of incoming parcels and storing appropriately;
- Providing correct quantities of parts to the Quality Control Team for inspection; and
- Arranging suitable courier collections for each shipment and managing the day to day relationship with couriers, reporting back to the Quality Team on performance.
We are looking for an individual who has excellent attention to detail and who can work to set deadlines. You must be confident and be able to use your initiative to identify missing information in order to complete tasks. You must be able to deal with pressure and changing priorities and also have excellent communication skills to ensure smooth handovers between teams.
You must have experience of stock control, as well as having experience in a similar warehouse or logistics related environment.

Forklift licence.
