Job title: Logistics Controller
Location: Bishopton, Renfrewshire – Onsite

What you’ll be doing:
- Effectively implement the company and site procedures relating to the control and management of appropriate articles on site
- The safe on-boarding and off-boarding of explosive articles to and from the Bishopton ETF site
- Safely move and store articles on the site in accordance with their Explosive Compatibility Group
- Management of site storage areas ensuring best use of footprint to support site operations
- The ownership, review and control of the explosive’s storage record in line with statutory and business requirements
- Liaising with the site Engineering and Trials Delivery teams and providing SME support to clarify/resolve any issues with the storage of articles on site
Your skills and experiences:
- Working knowledge of The Explosives Regulations 2014, L150 The Explosives Regulations 2014 - Safety provisions and L151 Explosives Regulations 2014 - Security provisions
- Knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Evidence of formal or on the job training in storage/logistics/munitions
- Knowledge of The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations (CDG)

The Team:
Within Land UK, we design, manufacture, upgrade, and support combat vehicles and provide ammunition, precision munitions, artillery systems and missile launchers to a global customer base.
This is a busy team within Heavy Munitions and you will form a key part of the site, owning the store footprint and becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for safe storage of explosive assets on site. You’ll be driving opportunities for investment and development on multiple projects whilst ensuring the high safety protocols within the stores.
