Safer Group are a young, dynamic, well established and rapidly growing technology focused security business, with strong capabilities in the development and deployment of security systems for temporary and remote sites. We work with some of the biggest names in construction, rail and civil engineering to secure their flagship projects from start to finish.
An exciting opportunity has come up for a Logistics Co-ordinator who will report directly to the Head of Logistics. The successful candidate will lead and manage the installation and decommission processes within the logistics department, whilst providing operational leadership and expertise to a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Managing installation and decommission engineers
· Planning and monitoring installations and decommissions
· Liaising with sales, production, warehouse, customer service departments and customers to ensure customer expectations are met
· Ensuring compliance with installation and maintenance procedures/gold standards
· Responding to any issues or complaints
· Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers
· Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations
· Controlling the installation and decommissioning engineering diary including stock requirements
· Ensuring our team of engineers have the correct information and equipment to complete their assigned jobs
· Liaising with the stock control and sales department to ensure the business holds optimum stock to meet demand and customer expectations
· Ensuring company vehicles and equipment are kept in good order and maintained as necessary
· Ensuring effective people management such that our people are enthused and able to thrive in our business
· Manage and develop the installation engineering team
Technical/Job specific skills/Experience required:
· Solid understanding of logistics
· Outstanding attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Strong team player
· Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports
· Solid time management
· Dynamic and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment
· Good client relationship skills
· Fluent in the use of Microsoft IT packages
· Experience working in a logistics, warehouse and or transportation environment
· Experience in managing a team (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
