Student Administration - School of Engineering and Physical Science
Part-Time (17.5 hours per week). Fixed Term (until 31 July 2026)
Applications are invited for the post of Student & Programme Administration Officer in the School of Engineering Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
Academic Administration at Royal Holloway is organised into six School Administration teams and a Doctoral School, which are all part of the Academic Services directorate; a single professional service which supports the student journey. Administration teams have been designed to provide a consistent and effective service to both students and staff.
The Placement and Year in Industry Administration Officer will work with the Placements and Student Experience Team. However, they will be primarily assigned to the School of Engineering, Physical and Mathematical Sciences to support the Year in Industry programmes in the School.
The role will be responsible for a variety of tasks and processes to support the delivery of Placement and Year in Industry activities, outline below. The role holder will demonstrate a commitment to our shared vision and service standards.
They will be expected to work closely with colleagues in the Careers & Employability Service and the School as well as those across other academic and professional services areas. They will be able to work with minimal supervision and to know when they need to seek guidance from senior colleagues. Candidates should have excellent organisational and numerical skills and the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team. In addition, they should be able to demonstrate commitment to working in Higher Education administration.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
This is a fixed term post to cover a substantive member of staff until 31 July 2026.This appointment could end earlier than expected should the substantive post-holder return to post early.
