Engineers/Fitters Mate Role Opportunity's
We are currently looking for Industrial Door and loading bay Service Engineers to be based in and around Midlands and North, duties will include service, call outs and repairs on Industrial Doors and loading bay equipment. Our installation teams are made up of industry professionals who provide onsite customer service to ensure the safe operation of our equipment.
Our Engineers carry out on-going installation, repair and servicing for a full line of industrial doors and dock equipment, on new and existing contracts and respond to breakdowns and repairs always ensuring a high level of customer service. It is essential you have a qualification in one of the following fields: electrical, mechanical, welding, hydraulic, or equivalent experience.
The successful candidates will require to be experienced practitioners with a proven track record in the install and maintenance of loading bay equipment (dock levellers etc) Industrial Doors, including High Speed and Sectional Over Head Doors along with loading bay technology.
Applicants should be capable of working on their own initiative and capable in the use of electronic reporting tools and written reporting to a high standard, including the ability to offer customers on-site solutions for repair and upgrade works.
In return, the candidate will receive an industry comparative base salary, with the opportunity for enhancements through overtime. Power tools, uniform and safety wear are provided as part of the role, as well as a fully expensed van where personal use is permitted.
Responsibilities to include:
- Service and Repairs on Industrial Doors and loading bay equipment.
- Offering customers on-site solutions for repair and upgrade works.
- The applicant will be self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Will be able to communicate both verbally and in writing including the use of electronic reporting tools and manual job sheets.
- Will be organised yet flexible with an ability to adapt to changes in workload.
- Will be capable of manual work, lifting and physical duties.
- Engineering qualification or experience is a must (NVQ Level 2)
- Industrial Door servicing and repirs.
- High Speed and Sectional Doors servicing and repairs.
- Dock Levellers, Scissor Lifts and loading bay equipment servicing and repairs.
- Competent welder an advantage.
