Job description
I am a 49-year-old gay man with a young outlook on life living in central Brighton, I have complex health conditions, am an indoor smoker (with an air purifier) and have four cats. I am looking a live in care worker to support me with all aspects of my care and daily living with a pattern of three weeks on and three weeks off.

Responsibilities
· Support me with all aspects of personal care
· Administer medication and complete MAR charts accurately and legibly
· To keep my home at an acceptable level of hygiene as I am at high risk of infections
· To support me with caring for my cats including emptying litter trays
· To be able to respond to occasional emergencies during the night
Essential
· Must be able to work in a home with and care for my cats
· To have a good understanding of physical and mental health conditions and how these impacts on my day to day lived experience
· To have good written and verbal communication to support with any paperwork, household tasks
· Be physically fit and able to push a manual wheelchair
Desirable
· Be a driver and have your own car (parking space provided)
· Able to use your own initiative and support with organising and liaising with GP’s and other health care professionals involved in my health care
5.6 weeks holiday is awarded per year as standard (pro rata for part time positions). Employees are also able to join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months’ service, subject to the rules of the scheme, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after completion of a successful probation period.
