Energy Live News Ltd is the home of Energy Live News www.energylivenews.comand www.futurenetzero.com. As well as the websites, we run three events
· Energy Live Consultancy Conference (ELCC) https://www.energylivenews.com/elcc/
· The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCA) https://www.energylivenews.com/telca/and
· The Big Zero Show www.bigzeroshow.com
We work with Partners who want to get in front of our audience (energy and Net Zero Professionals) as it has a big spend (£ Billions) on energy and carbon reduction.
The Social Media & Campaigns Manager is a key role for us and the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Social Media
We are strong on LinkedIn and Twitter and need to gain more exposure in TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
You will be expected to
· Create relevant content
· Increase engagement across all social media channels
· Grow followers on all channels
· Drive traffic to FNZ, ELN and to event pages
Data Analytics
We run a number of different systems and processes which include:
· Wordpress back end
· Energy Live News (ELN) front end www.energylivenews.com
· www.futurenetzero.com(FNZ) front end
· Lead Forensics
· YouTube
· PodBean
· Force 24 email system which includes audience database (circa 30,000 email addresses)
· Survey Monkey
For each of these systems and processes, you will be expected to
- Report on engagement
- Analyse performance data for trends and insights
- Work with clients to promote their content
- Engage with database audience
Advertising
We run advertising campaigns for ourselves and Partners on ELN, FNZ, Google Display Network (retargeting ads), LinkedIn and YouTube. You will be expected to
- Manage adverts/banners across both platforms
- Manage retargeting ads for the Google Display Network
- Promote events, client and editorial content on websites and Google Display network
- Create ads and copywrite
Content/Campaigns
We produce content and campaigns for ourselves and Partners. You will have to
- Liaise with Partners about relevant ads, copy and campaigns
- Liaise with editorial team and Directors about relevant ads, copy and campaigns
- Project manage promo campaigns for us and Partners
- Use social media, emailshots, direct email, calendar invites, phone calls, texts and automated messaging tools
- Write email and advert copy
- Create weekly news emails, FNZ promotions, event promos and targeted campaigns
- Report on engagement and campaigns
- Create surveys and promote through various means (emails, social media, calls, etc)
- Select content for the News PDF service (Partner branded and the weekly EL Digest)
- Project manage EL Policy Reports ensuring the Partner(s) receive them in time and in the correct format
Event/registrations
For our events, it is imperative we have a delegate audience which fits the right criteria for our Partners and is also plentiful. You will be responsible for
- Phone calls, emails, calendar invites, social media automation tools, social media posts and advert promos to encourage potential delegates to sign up to events
- Reports based on the event campaigns, event attendees and non-attendees
- Sign-in lists before, during and after event
Database
We have an energy and Net Zero professionals database of circa 39,000 email addresses. This database is used to drive traffic to the websites we run and to maximise delegate attendance at our events. You will be responsible for
- Managing the Force24 email system and database
- Looking after the database including tasks such as cleaning, sectorising and growing it
- Compiling database reports for Directors
Energy Live News Ltd is based in Cuffley, Herts. You will be expected to work from the office and to travel to clients and events when appropriate. You will be reimbursed for any travel and expenses involving clients and events.
Whilst experience is helpful, personality and get go are imperative. We are a small team with lots of energy and opinion and it is critical you are able to work in a team.
You will be given lots of responsibility, so initiative and getting on with it are key.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
