Job description
We now have opportunities for Class 1 (C&E) Livestock/Feed Driver with real commitment to animal welfare to join our dedicated in-house transport team based in Halesworth. Preferably holding a valid NPTC qualification or have experience with livestock, however full training will be given for any candidates that expresses enthusiasm and a willingness to succeed in livestock haulage. The role will involve – Collecting and delivering livestock to various sites and collecting and making bulk feed deliveries. It will include varying work patterns which predominately are Monday to Friday but will including occasional weekend, night time working and tramping when necessary, therefore it is important that you are self-motivated and have a flexible and enthusiastic approach. You must hold a valid driver CPC and a valid digital tachograph card, with a good understanding of tachograph legislation and drivers’ working hours.
