The Role: Technical Research Analyst

The Team:
The Rushmore Reviews consist of Data, Product, Sales, & PD&D teams. The analyst role within the Data team is to source and transform raw data into critical information for each Performance Review that makes up the Rushmore Reviews product line. Team members must exhibit an openness to learning, working closely together, sharing experience and expertise to ensure the highest levels of quality output.

The Impact:
This role is integral to the core of the Rushmore Reviews, liaising directly with clients to source and QC data, ensuring only fully quality controlled data is published, so our Participants know they’re benchmarking with the most accurate data available.

Responsibilities:
Establish, cultivate, and maintain cooperative relationships with clients, from whom you will collect source data for the Rushmore products
Data Processing and QC: use in-house tools to validate data and identify errors, omissions, and inconsistencies; communicating with clients to resolve outstanding queries
Maintain full and accurate electronic records for assigned clients, using our internal database - this includes auditable records of all incoming and outgoing emails/phone calls, along with any data files sent/received
Continuous learning: the role requires a prolonged period of training for all new team members due to the unique product and technical nature of data handled
Participate in regular meetings with colleagues to update on progress and discuss technical matters

What We’re Looking For:
Very strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook, plus familiarity with Microsoft Teams
Experience in data processing
A keen eye for detail, and the ability to apply this to scrutinising data
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both spoken and written English
Knowledge of the oil and gas industry
