Job Title – Senior Lighting Designer

The Opportunity

The role will see you play a pivotal role in increasing Arup’s already successful lighting business in the UK and abroad. With a keen interest in lighting design and technology, the candidate will support the technical and creative development of the local lighting practice's capabilities and support the lighting practice nationally in the delivery of projects.

Is this role right for you?

Requirements:

  • Degree in lighting design, electrical engineering, architecture or related relevant discipline, preferably with professional qualification(s) in Lighting
  • Lighting design experience in the UK (and to a lesser degree overseas experience) in the lighting industry
  • Proven experience in the successful delivery of lighting projects of all types, a fundamental appreciation of lighting consultancy as a technical service
  • An understanding of daylight design and the ability to articulate the value of daylight within a holistic lighting design process
