Vacancy - Light Packer and Labeller (Dual Role)-
Location – Tipton DY4 7UD
Reporting to – Production/Site Manager/Contract Manager
Hrs – 08:30-16:30- Monday to Friday
Rate- National Min/Living Wage to £10.62 dependant on Experience.
Light Packing Duties- (Working in the Light Packing department)
Check work sheets / inspection sheets.
Monitor the correct withdrawal of products to be packed, cartons, pallets, packing materials, consumables and equipment to the point of process.
Ensure materials and consumables are stacked securely and the packing areas are clean and safe prior to processing at all times.
Ensure that packing processes are set up correctly prior to commencing the operations and 1st off is stamped off after approval.
Ensure that packing is carried out in a safe and secure manner at all times.
Ensure that the goods are packed securely and safe from damage or deterioration.
Ensure cartons and pallets are securely constructed to company guidelines/standards and are fit for purpose.
Ensure containers are clearly marked with the correct identification, safety and environmental details.
Ensure necessary characteristics are adequately checked and recorded and that completed batches are transferred to the consolidation and consignment release area
Record, on completion of packing operations the materials used and time taken to complete, stamping off paperwork.
Remove packing scrap and rubbish from the packing area ensuring that scrap is kept to a minimum.
Labelling Duties- (Working in the MoD Office)
Prepare & Print Labels for worked packed goods in line with administration documents.
