Job Role: Life Insurance Analyst
Location: Hybrid - London E1

Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities:
Our Life Insurance Analyst will research a wide range of insurance areas such as life, medical and pensions over 170 different global markets. They will then share their research with our clients in various formats as needed.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Factual checking & editing of updates to our Life and Benefits Insurance Market Reports, ensuring that each update makes sense for the market being covered.
- Assisting in handling client helpline enquiries by researching and answering technical insurance questions.
- Briefing our consultant writers on insurance issues in the market and gaps in our market knowledge.
- Producing insurance regulatory alerts, including identifying alerts that are of interest to our clients, online research, interpretation of regulatory changes (often using Google translate) and writing a summary of the new regulation.
- Supporting with ad-hoc projects.
We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes...
We know it’s not a skill, but the successful candidate must have permission to work in the role’s location by the start of their employment.
You will also need;
An excellent technical understanding of life and private medical insurance.- Ability to assimilate large amounts of data/information and produce concise summaries in an appropriate format.
- Ability to undertake regulatory intelligence research without supervision.
- Ability to understand and interpret legal text.
- Strong administrative skills / MS Office software user (Word and Excel).
- Ability to write and proof-read in excellent English.
- Language skills will be very well regarded.
