An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Library and Learning Service Team at Prospect House, near the University Hospital of North Durham (UHND) on a permanent, full-time basis (37.5 hours per week).
The post is based in a busy, customer-focused educational environment, ensuring that high quality services are provided to all employees, trainees, students and stakeholders to support patient care, clinical decision making, service planning, education, research and innovation.
The role is a varied one which covers the following: general reception and administrative duties; dealing with room booking queries; handling e-learning queries; placing orders; receiving deliveries; dealing with book loans and returns; responding to library enquiries; providing support to centre users; dealing with technical problems in the training and computer areas; using MS Office packages; using specialist software packages (for handling room bookings, e-learning queries and placing orders); using printers, copiers and laminators; .
