Job description

Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for a Library Learning Facilitator on behalf of an Educational establishment within the East Durham area

37 hours per week - Term time only

Salary: £19,859pa FTE alongside:

Ideally you will have an Enhanced DBS on the update service.

The person & qualifications

Minimum of 4 GCSE grades A-C or above or equivalent.
Level 3 ICT Qualification or willingness to work toward.
Highly developed interpersonal and customer care skills.

Duties

To undertake various desk duties including issuing and receiving loan stock; shelving load stock; processing new stock; filing/overdues; checking orders; and other duties as directed
To provide advice and support to staff and students to use the Learning Resources Centre effectively including digital support.
To liaise with curriculum teams regarding the availability and development of subject resources.
To support learners in the development of independent study skills and proof- read student work when requested.
Supervise the Learning Resources Centre as required to ensure compliance with all College procedures e.g., Network Regulations.
