Job Title: Graphic Designer - Food Craft Location: Lindon, UT
Classification: Hourly Full Time Reports to: Department Director
American Crafts is looking for an amazing Graphic Designer to join our Food Crafting Team in our Lindon, UT office. We are known for our fresh, clean product design and friendly, personalized customer service. American Crafts offers an amazing line of cool modern products for paper crafters, memory keepers and DIY-ers. We also offer a great line of cooking tools and food crafting products that let customers make and decorate cookies, cakes, and other baked goods.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work by yourself (occasionally) and on a team (mostly) to innovate and design new packaging and marketing materials
- Mock-up prototypes of product and packaging
- Assist in creation of marketing collateral
- Other responsibilities as asked
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required (BFA preferred) in graphic design, illustration or fine arts
- Strong working knowledge of the Adobe suite, with an in-depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Strong typography skills preferred; strong illustration skills preferred
- Ability to mock-up packaging and product, with attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
- Organized and able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Able to pay attention to detail and have the ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Good at communicating verbally and in written form
- Able to participate in weekly critiques – giving and receiving constructive criticism
- Willing to travel occasionally
- Any cross training in photography, video production or Web design is viewed as a plus, but not required
- Must provide portfolio work
