Salary: Grade S5 from: £27,793 to £29,150 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £31,437 per annum inclusive of London Weighting. (Pro-rata if Part-time)
Hours: Part-time (18 hours per week on average, weekends/evenings)

Brunel Library Services has a weekends/evenings team to offer enhanced student support 7 days a week as part of its Strategic Plan. We now have a part-time vacancy available.
As one of our advisers, you will contribute significantly to the successful operation of our virtual and physical helpdesks and help us deliver high-quality front-line support, fetch and circulation services for our students and staff. You will also help us ensure that the Library study environment is well-maintained and managed out of hours. As part of the role you will liaise with colleagues across various departments including Estates Management and IT as required. You may also occasionally undertake supervisory duties of student Job Shop staff.
The role will require you to work on either a Saturday or Sunday and two afternoons/evenings a week (averaging 18 hours/week).
As part of the Student and Academic Services Directorate, Library Services are central to the University’s learning, teaching and research activities and you will be instrumental in promoting and integrating our offering to help deliver the University’s vision.
