Senate House Library
Senate House Library is the central library for the University of London and the School of Advanced Study. We are one of the UK's largest academic libraries for arts, humanities & social sciences and are home to many unique and distinctive special collections in the heart of London’s student and research community.
The Role
Senate House Library is seeking 3 part time Library Assistants, for evenings and Saturdays (18 hours per week)
You will work on the Membership and Service desks as part of the Library Customer Services team, providing a range of excellent customer-facing services to internal and external users of Senate House Library.
You will have excellent organisational skills demonstrating a methodical approach to work and attention to detail as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Previous practical experience of customer service in a library or similar context is desirable.
These are fixed term appointments to the end of May 2024.
