Job Description
As the Library and Research Assistant you will be responsible for:

- Providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all library.
- Processing resources within agreed turnaround periods.
- Returning material to shelves, shelf tidying and sequencing.
- Assisting with research and use of facilities available within the library
- Maintain the library and supervising user behaviour, ensuring rules are observed and the Health and Safety procedures are maintained.
- Create displays to promote library services and resources.
- Management of requests and stock levels for the marketing collateral for events, such as pull-up banners & tablecloths, goodie bags etc.
- Monitoring market reports and latest trends.
- Supporting the PR and Copywriting team
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for the role you will:
- Ideally have worked within a similar role previously
- Have a good administrative background with an interest in doing research
- Have a welcoming and friendly approach
- Be a good communicator
