Pay Rate: £35,700 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 04:00-06:00 starts (plus 6 Saturday shifts per year)
Location: DHL Trade Team - Birmingham - B46 1 TT
Please note the duties of this role include the delivery of alcoholic beverages and include the manual handling of barrels and kegs of beer
Please note that a minimum of 6 months LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) commercial driving experience is required to be considered for this role

As a DHL Supply Chain Driver, you will be playing your part in keeping the world moving by safely and efficiently delivering goods to our customers. We need you to:
- Be an Ambassador for DHL Supply Chain, have a Can Do, Right First Time and Passionate approach to your role
- Enjoy working as part of a successful team
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

What are the requirements?
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- *Please be aware that duties include the delivery of alcoholic beverages*
- Working with a drivers assistant this role includes heavy manual handling of barrels and kegs of beer and cases of wines and spirits
- Working Monday to Friday, starts between 04:00-07:00 (also required to work 6 Saturdays per year)
- Deliveries to pubs and clubs - average of 12 drops per day
- Drivers are required to have a minimum of 6 months commercial LGV C+E experience for these roles.
