A truly exciting opportunity has arisen to join our LEGO® Retail Finance team for a period of around 12 months commencing from July 2023 in our London Hub. We are looking for 2 highly driven, curious, and analytical individuals with a passion for numbers and data.

The LEGO® Retail Finance team consists of 14 colleagues based across Europe, China and the US. The Global LEGO® Retail business is responsible for Direct-to-Consumer Channels (E-comm and stores around the world), Retail Development and Model Production.
Core Responsibilities
The role will be varied but exciting and you will have the opportunity to work across LEGO Retail Finance team and business partners, including but not limited to the following topics:
- Help drive the digitalization of Finance and build financial reports in an efficient and business-focused way, leveraging data analytics
- Supporting on digitization of stores or ecommerce reporting
- Analysing key drivers to understand the performance of channel
- Support in defining the commercial plan to improve top line performance
- Support on improving forecasting accuracy of both revenue and costs
- Support and prepare materials for senior executive teams
- Provide analysis and insights for ad hoc projects as needed
Do you have what it takes?
- Working towards a bachelor’s or Master’s degree and hold strong numerical A levels ( or equivalent) . Accounting/Economics/ Finance/ Data Science preferable
- Completing an industrial placement year course returning to study in autumn 2024
- Must have the right to work in the UK already in place
- Possess a quantitative approach and analytical capabilities and be passionate about unlocking insights through data
- Be a good communicator and confident with presentations
- Have strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks optimally
- Be familiar with MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, look-ups, macros, etc.) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Able to access large volumes of unstructured data and organize information – experience with SQL or other languages preferred
- Proficient in English – written and verbal
