Job description

James Carrera of Digital Data Foundation is recruiting a Legal Technology Manager with the ultimate responsibility for delivering the Legal Tech strategy ensuring this is implemented as planned (working with product managers for each category of tool and with the managers of the legal tech operations and solutions teams) and to adapt strategy when needed. required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring product roadmap for each category of tools is delivered (inclusive of product materials, learning & development sessions, communications to the firm etc)
  • Reporting/ value tracking of firm use of the tools on a category basis along with practice group basis to check implementation of the tools across the firm
  • Work with Innovation team, Legal Ops and Project Management team, Professional Support Lawyers to encourage awareness of use of legal tech in their practice groups
  • Support on sales and business development opportunities ranging from BD conversations with in-house legal teams and inputting on RFP requests
  • Potentially deliver and facilitate workshops with clients to determine issues/ challenges they want to address using Legal Tech
  • Support with setting team strategy, goals and growth plan for how the team supports the BAU needs from the business to utilise legal tech in practice
  • Work as a Solution Architect on live client projects as part of the delivery team – working alongside project managers, client matter partner and Solution Engineers

Experience

  • Be people oriented with human centred approach to management, with experience managing teams of 3+
  • Have experience of building and delivering a strategy, along with reporting on success
  • Understand and take interest in the application of legal technology and how it can be used to contribute to change within the legal industry
  • Ideally have experience across a range of legal tech tools including for example HighQ, Kira, Litera Transact etc
  • Ideally have product management experience
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to use logic to solve complex problems
  • Be solution oriented and have a pro-active approach
  • Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks on simultaneous projects
