What will you be doing?
- You will be providing legal support to fee earners with both administrative tasks and pre/post completion work on civil private client matters
Your standard responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with new/existing client email or telephone enquires
- Opening, closing and archiving of client files
- Document collation and Proof reading
- Assisting the fee earners generally with administrative responsibilities
- Assisting the fee earners with financial management, file disbursements and client billing
- Diary management liaison with all fee earners
- Furthering your knowledge through ongoing training
Skills and qualifications:
- You may be a law graduate or administrative/legal secretary looking for a new challenge
- Strong ability to self-manage a large workload
- Previous experience in civil litigation would be advantageous but not essential
- You will have good IT and communication skills
- You will be personally well organised and thrive in organising others
