Delighted to be supporting a well-known top tier law firm in recruiting for a Legal Project Manager who will be aligned to a key practice area.

As a Legal Project Manager, you will act as a first port of call for the Corporate Practice (MSC) group with regards to legal project management support. You will be embedded within the MSC team and will need to advise on and support Practice and LPM team members with the delivery of MSC matters, and work to expand the scope of LPM support within the practice group. You will also be required to provide daily updates to practice partners as well as liaise closely with lawyers and our clients to plan matters, monitor delivery, and keep the team and the client informed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on appropriate technology and resourcing solutions to support effective matter delivery, liaising with relevant specialist teams as appropriate.
  • Providing LPM support on MSC matters in line with the legal project management service offering (e.g. management of due diligence exercises using our end-to-end due diligence platform).
  • Coaching legal project managers from the central team with regards to their technical delivery on MSC matters.
  • Providing legal project management input for MSC client pitches, and attending client pitches or presentations as required.
  • Raising awareness of how the LPM capability can support MSC matters by ensuring regular attendance at practice group meetings and other appropriate internal forums.
  • Developing and maintaining best practice project management guidance for MSC matters

Experience sought:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional services environment, ideally within a law firm.
  • Qualified Project Manager.
  • Proven project delivery experience, and experience of change management, ideally within the legal industry.
  • Experience managing due diligence/document review exercises (desirable).
  • Competent in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience using technology to support project delivery.
