Job description

Main Objectives

· Manage all Food and Beverage Outlet operations (weddings/events)

· Maintain exceptional levels of customer service

· Ensure compliance of brand standards

Summary of Duties

· To ensure service standards are maintained

· To ensure daily (weekly) brief with the team is happening

· To ensure that the department delivers the core standards

· To ensure standard checklist (shift sheets procedures) are used and signed

· To empower team to be able to handle all positive and negative feedback and records correctly

· To actively consider prevention, recovery and investigation of any complaints

· To undertake and be responsible for cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant & bar in the hotel

· To anticipate guests needs wherever possible and promote hospitality within the hotel, enhancing guests experience

· To carry out quality training and coaching in a systematic and professional manner using the Restaurant & Bar training folders

· To ensure Company and legal standards of cleanliness are maintained within the departments

· To ensure team are correctly uniformed, in line with Company standards and understand the importance of personal hygiene

· To ensure Team are punctual, polite, courteous and helpful to guests and colleagues all the time

· To be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the Hotel and whenever appropriate, offer the information to the Guest.

· Recruit, manage, train and develop the Food and Beverage team

· Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner

· Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food, Liquor Costs and Payroll

· Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures

· Accountable for monthly stock takes

· Incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue

· Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated

· Be environmentally aware

· Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

· Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

· Undertake Duty Managers shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
