About the role:
As part of our continued success and our ambitious growth plans we are looking for a talented post sales specialist / Customer Service Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in the next stage of our company’s development and help us to continue to develop as one of the world’s leading cycling travel companies.
As a Customer Service Specialist you will be responsible for all aspects of post sales booking support, with a particular focus on post sales bookings. Your key responsibility will be booking hotels, bikes and transfers and liaising with our suppliers. You will also deal with post sales amendments and booking changes.
On a daily basis you will be speaking to customers and suppliers making changes to bookings, resolving frontline issues, taking payments and ensuring all elements of a booking are fully confirmed. Working in a fast paced and challenging environment you will always offer a fantastic level of service encouraging customer loyalty and ensuring the Love Velo brand values are represented at all times.
Requirements
Experience Required
- Previous experience working in a phone based customer Service role, preferably within a KPI driven Contact Centre.
Specific skills
- Attention to detail an absolute requirement of the job.
- Previous experience of working in the travel industry with knowledge of both UK and overseas travel would be preferred.
- Previous telephone based Customer Services experience is essential.
- IT literate with a good knowledge of Google applications preferable.

Benefits
- 24k per annum (pro-rata for PT role)
- Flexible working hours can be arranged with successful candidate. We are looking for around 20 hours and this could for example be over 3 full time days or 5 part time days.
- Ideally office base but role can be remote (first month based in office to learn role)
- 22 days holiday pa (pro-rata for PT role) , increasing to 25 upon completion of a 6 month probation
