What is the Legal Graduate Scheme?
As a Postgraduate on our Training Contract, you’ll be joining our Legal team, where we support the business as Britain’s biggest generator of zero carbon electricity, working to help us reach Net Zero carbon emissions.
On this 2-year programme you’ll complete your Professional Skills Course (PSC) training, learn from our experts, gaining valuable experience in stakeholder relationships and negotiations. You’ll have the opportunity to build your confidence and experience and develop your Legal knowledge.
Pay, culture and benefits:
- 2 year fixed term Training Contract to start in September 2024 or 2025
- For those looking to start in 2025 we will consider sponsorship of Legal Practice Course (LPC) or Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE)

Training, development and support for you:
We’re passionate about development and offer a tailored training path that will help develop your skills, knowledge and behaviours, both during the scheme and in your future career.
To get the most from our training during the programme you’ll be moving around our sites to experience our diverse business. During this 2-year programme you will complete 4, 6 month rotations through our business, these could include Nuclear Operations, our European Pressurised Reactor (EPR) programme and either our Hinkley Point C or Sizewell C projects. This will give you the opportunity to make amazing memories!
During this programme you will be working towards completing your Training Contract here at EDF. You’ll have mentors and industry experts to give you advice along the way and help you with decisions about your future career path.

- 2:2 Legal Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate Diploma Law) or a 2:2 Legal conversion course (Postgraduate Diploma Law)
- Legal Practice Course or Solicitor Qualifying Exam before starting your Training Contract

- Please note that you will need to be eligible to obtain Security Clearance in order to be considered for this role.
