The Wealth Management (WM) United Kingdom (UK) Legal supports Deutsche Bank UK Bank Limited. The team are responsible for assisting with legal aspects of the day-to-day operations of Deutsche Bank UK Bank as well as the broader regulatory, product, project, and governance aspects of the UK Wealth Management business.
You will provide legal guidance and counsel to managers and teams within the business on a wide range of legal topics.

Your key responsibilities
- Providing legal support to the alternative investment solutions business of International Private Bank (IPB) globally
- Providing advice to the alts business globally on fund structuring, negotiation of fund documentation, production of templates and selection of and negotiations with third party fund managers and providers
- Extensively liaising with colleagues from legal, compliance, anti-financial crime (AFC) and other control functions to navigate the Deutsche Bank new product approval process
- Supporting the UK WM business in relation to all its other WM activities including discretionary and advisory mandates, custody, lending, and deposits, wealth planning and product development as well as regulatory compliance
- Engaging and managing, to the extent considered appropriate by Legal, external lawyers
Your skills and experience
- Track record in advising on funds, ideally with experience in the alternative funds space
- Knowledge of different funds structures, documentation and associated regulatory regimes
- Previous experience of a range of products and services typically offered in the WM space desirable, but not essential. Experience with cross-border operating models and issues related to dealing with high net worth clients desirable, but not essential
- Highly motivated and efficient with a preparedness to learn new areas of law including WM and willingness to adopt a commercial approach in dealing with different stakeholders
- Working in a dynamic international environment, ability to relate to different business perspectives and approaches to issues arising from such perspectives
