We have an exciting opportunity for a law undergraduate seeking a sandwich year placement to provide administrative support within the Real Estate team in our Oxford office. Whilst this is primarily an administrative role, there is scope to become more involved in fee earner work during the course of the placement.
Please note, this role is only for law undergraduates seeking a sandwich year placement of between 9 and 12 months commencing at the end of the current academic year. The successful candidate will be working in the office 4 days a week with 1 day working from the home.

To deliver Personalised Client Service, you will undertake administrative duties for the team including, but not limited to;
- Photocopying
- Copy typing
- Data entry
- Audio typing
- Filing
- Archiving
- Answer telephone calls from clients & third parties, take messages and pass messages to relevant individuals within the team
- Preparing bills
- Support the team with the arrangement of business development and marketing activities where required
- Work closely with other members of the team to ensure work is completed effectively and efficiently
- Liaise with members of the wider team and other teams across the business
- Ensure that all working processes and practices comply with relevant quality and service standards
To help ensure Sustainable Growth you will:
- Provide administrative support for business development and marketing activities including booking facilities and refreshments, booking specialist, preparing presentation materials and associated marketing documentation
- Support fee-earners by acting as a point of contact for 3rd parties (such as agents, referrers, experts and other solicitors), responding to enquiries and building a good rapport
- Act as an ambassador for the firm at all times

Person Specification
Knowledge & Skills
- Currently studying Law at University
- IT systems including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions and proactively learn
