Legal Assistant – London

A bit about the job:
As a Legal Assistant your role is to support the asset management legal team in negotiating a range of agreements, including distribution agreements, reporting agreements, investment management agreements and supplier agreements. You will be conducting legal research to assist in the advising on a range of legal issues relating to asset management. The role itself provides high quality and timely commercial legal advice and guidance. Within this role you will be working collaboratively with other lawyers (across the function where appropriate). In addition to this you will need to maintain professional collaborative relationships with external lawyers and other professional advisers.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with or without direct supervision and coordinate multiple projects.
- Ability to use initiative and work well independently.
- Flexibility for overtime as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Law degree or equivalent experience preferred
