We support programs through licensed brand afiliation through our distribution arm.

The Bookkeeper will work closely with the executive team, slaes staff, chartered accountant, and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations of the organization. In-depth knowledge of ERP systems and QBs an asset.

Responsibilities
- Develops system for the accurate and timely entry of transactions into the multiple company ledgers and reconciliation
- Improves and maintains bookkeeping policies and procedures for entire company
- Maintains accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Balances accounts by reconciling entries
- Prepares financial reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing account information and trends
- Complies with Federal, local and legal requirements by reviewing and enforcing adherence
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
- Processing payments
- Conducting daily banking activities
- Administor A/P
- Issue invoices to customers
- Collect sales taxes from customers and remit them to the government
- Ensure that account receivables are collected in a prompt and professional manner
- Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
- Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account, shopify accounts, paypal accounts
- Maintain the petty cash fund
- Issue financial statements as required by exectutive team
- Provide information to the accountant who creates the company’s financial statements
- Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit
- Calculate and issue financial analysis of the financial statements
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
- All payroll functions including managing staff timesheets
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Maintain, manage & reconcile QuickBooks, Shopify, and other inventory ecommerce platforms
- Familiarity with the company’s manufacturing, procurement, and production processes.
Requirements
- Post secondary and 5+ minimum years experience
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Quickbooks, ERP systems and Shopify experience required
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
