PTW is hiring aLEGAL ASSISTANT/ADMINISTRATORto join our team in Rockyview County!The LegalAssistant/ Administrator will be expected to coordinate workflow with other support services including delegating and reviewing the completion of contract reviews, document production, file management, copying/scanning work and other administrative work.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Use effective systems to ensure that both short and long term tasks are completed within required timescales
- Deal with queries, responding as appropriate and/or ensuring that all messages are passed on in a timely manner
- Monitor post and/or e-mails and dealing with as appropriate and ensure that all client related correspondence is passed on in a timely manner
- Monitor, Review, Assign and follow up using sharepoint
- Enter, maintain and update details and relevant information as necessary in applicable systems
- Arrange/prepare documentation for execution
- Draft/edit documents in Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint
- Ensure relevant documents including final form are saved electronically
- Create and maintain databases using various applications including SharePoint
Requirements:
- Graduate of a recognized legal assistant program or 2 years legal experience is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe, Outlook, Excel and Sharepoint
- Ability to quickly comprehend and adopt new technology and software programs
- Excellent communication, organizational and team skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible and dependable, able to take the initiative
- Able to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
- Conscientious, approachable and enthusiastic
- Able to quickly build confidence, respect and trust with others, with a view to developing a strong, cohesive team
- Have a positive approach to daily tasks and have a solutions focused working method
GOOD TO KNOW
- Must have own transportation as office location is not accessible with public transportation.
