Equans is looking for a Security officer to join our team in Lambeth Civic Centre SW2 5BY on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
To be an effective and professional on-site point of contact ensuring the security of our client premises, property, and personnel
To provide a flexible service to the customer that accommodates any local requirements or specific requests for contracted services and ad-hoc duties as agreed by Security Management
Monday to Friday 9 to 5
What will you deliver?
Protect premises against unauthorised access or occupation.
Protect property against destruction, damage, and theft.
Guarding against assault and/or injury that might be suffered as a consequence of unlawful conduct.
Effective checking required ID, controlling pedestrian movements in accordance with site assignment instructions.
Escort and monitor contractors or visitors to site.
In line with assignment instructions, maintain a check on the perimeter and external areas of the site checking for intrusion, fire, or flood.
In line with assignment instructions, conduct regular, highly visible patrols of the site on the perimeter boundary and lockups when necessary.
Ensuring a correct response and reporting of any incidents or occurrences
Health and Safety of yourself and others on the site
Keeping up to date with security guidelines

Who are we looking for?
Be able to pass a security clearance process.
Remain flexible to being deployed at any of the positions throughout the contracts.
Full SIA Licence and DBS
Maybo trained (The rate of pay will be increased)
Please note, the successful candidate must undergo and clear a Security Check (BS7858)
