Job description
The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) is currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join their Professional Indemnity Claims Department. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the legal team including the provision of weekly and monthly management information, preparation and collation of claims data for quarterly file reviews and updates prior to member/customer renewal meetings. In addition you will collate claims information and documentation into files, acknowledging receipt of papers and setting up claims on the claims handling system to be passed to file handlers.
The successful candidate is an individual who is a self-starter; able to prioritise and work to deadlines as well as being able to problem solve and to refer on at appropriate juncture.
This is a permanent, full time position of 35 hours per week and is based at the NPA head office in St Albans, Hertfordshire. We are currently working in a hybrid way with a mix of office and home based working.
