Cohen Immigration Law, a world-wide leader in providing Canadian Immigration Services, is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the legal team.
Cohen Immigration Law practices exclusively in the area of Canadian Immigration and has been reliably servicing its clients’ immigration needs for over 40 years. With extensive knowledge of immigration law, the firm has successfully helped thousands of people achieve their dream of starting a new life in Canada.
Legal Assistants have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assist the firm’s Attorneys with compiling application packages, including legal submissions, forms, and supporting documents.
- Maintain active and timely communications with clients.
- Collect and collate information and documentation received from clients.
- Maintain case and application status on the internal Case Management System.
- Monitor cases and applications and ensure that all deadlines are met.
The Ideal Candidate
You are an enthusiastic and highly motivated worker, with excellent research and writing skills, keen attention to detail, and strong organizational capabilities. You are able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
You have:
- Completed a Bachelor’s level degree;
- Experience using modern communication technologies;
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (or similar) software;
- Proficiency in using Internet-based Interactive websites, both for work related tasks and for research; and
- (Beneficial) Prior work related to Canadian Immigration

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $37,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
