- Collaborate closely with the Senior Legal Counsel, legal colleagues, and treasury team members to gather data and convert it into valuable information that advances the project's objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on various legal matters as assigned by a lawyer.
- Prepare concise memos or summaries of the research findings for effective communication.
- Provide necessary administrative support to the legal team as required.
What you have:
- Currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd-year law student with strong research skills.
- Preferably, have some experience in law or pre-law, specifically at a bank or credit union.
- Demonstrated coursework or knowledge in the law of secured lending and personal property security registers is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with numbers, finance, and accounting principles are beneficial.
- Exceptional ability to gather, analyze, and organize information from diverse data sources.
- Proficient in consolidating findings into succinct memos or summaries, both in written and oral formats.
- Well-developed analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
