This highly exciting and autonomous Senior Brand Manager will need to develop and drive commercially viable strategies for the brand in collaboration with the wider brand team. This will include promotion, education, and advertising to drive brand awareness, increase uptake and create customer engagement.

This brilliant opportunity will offer exposure to both mature and launch brands, a chance to work cross-functionally, high visibility, recognition and future development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Working in the matrix environment of the Brand Team to develop and implement powerful marketing strategies, including positioning, messaging, and creative execution of the marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Ownership and delivery of key congresses and meetings.
  • Supporting, inspiring, and creating buy-in from the in-field team.
  • Continually gain insight into customer opinion and behaviour, that feeds meaningfully into the brand planning process – effectively manage the marketing intelligence systems to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Innovate, build and execute a strong customer engagement plan to maximise opportunities across our channel and stakeholder mix in order to strengthen and imbed promotional campaigns.
  • To plan and execute industry leading educational platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders both within the affiliate and our global teams.
  • Plan and execute promotional medical educational programmes.
  • To effectively develop External Expert relationships across the UK.
  • To manage agency relationships to ensure projects are delivered to a clear brief and are on time/budget and deliver.
  • Work in partnership with asset teams to ensure new product launches align with the brand strategy and guidelines.
  • Mentor junior marketing colleagues.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

Science / Business / Marketing Degree or equivalent experience required

Additional marketing qualifications / ABPI qualified an advantage

Previous broad marketing / brand / industry experience

Inspiring and motivating cross-functional and in-field teams

Experience working across multiple channels

Experience of monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of activities

Leading and delivering a multi-stakeholder brand plan
