We are seeking a Data engineer to provide assistance in maintaining and upgrading our existing data pipeline projects, helping scope out and design new projects with clients.This is a great role for someone who is looking to learn and gain professional experience in data whilst honing their client skills.
Duties:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data needs
- Build and optimize databases for data storage and retrieval
- Develop data models and schemas for efficient data organization
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes
- Create and maintain documentation for data engineering processes and workflows
- Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to support analytics initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and integration
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, VBA
- Experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning
- Proficiency in working with large datasets and understanding of data structures
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment
- Strong analytical skills to analyze complex datasets and identify patterns or trends
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues related to data engineering processes

Salary: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
