About us

The UCL Department of Information Studies (DIS) in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities is launching a new BSc Information in Society programme at UCL East from 2024. The department also offers postgraduate qualifications for the library, archive, and information professions, publishing, information and data science and digital humanities, and collaborates in the delivery of an inter-faculty BSc in Information Management for Business. We have a strong international reputation for research.

About the role

To design and carry out teaching and administration duties within the Department, with a teaching focus on general computer science, information systems, database systems and data analytics mainly at undergraduate level (BSc in Information Management for Business). To provide learning, assessment and pastoral support for modules with large student cohorts. Please upload a CV and supporting statement together with your application. About you

A broad knowledge of computer/data science sufficient to teach a range of computer science-related topics at undergraduate and postgraduate university level. Teaching or teaching support at university level in an area related to computer science or business information systems, including both online and in person teaching and learning. PhD degree in computer science, computing, information systems or a related discipline.
