ShareThe Department of Life Sciences are looking for an outstanding individual or individuals to contribute to the delivery of our highly successful Advanced Programmes in Pharmacy Practice and Therapeutics (AP3T) suite of courses.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practicing health professional with existing training experience to explore work in the academic sector.
This post can focus on one or more of the delivery of the following :
- Primary or Secondary Care diploma in clinical pharmacy programme
- Independent Prescribing
- Advanced Clinical Assessment
- Advanced Clinical Pharmacy Practice (Masters level)
Therefore, we welcome eligible applicants from a range of disciplines or professions and, whilst we encourage applicants who are trained prescribers, this is not a pre-requisite.
About us
The AP3T suite of programmes is highly regarded and delivers high quality teaching particularly of clinical skills for pharmacists in practice. You will be keen to combine your expert professional practice with a desire to develop others through the application of their teaching and learning skills. You will work within an experienced team to support the teaching and learning of our postgraduate students across a range of units and will be required to cover a range of face to face and online teaching activities and support assessment, evaluation and pastoral support for students.

This post is being offered as a full-time role but we welcome applicants who wish to maintain a clinical/alternative commitment in non-University hours or also those who may wish to work part-time.
