This is an exciting time to join the Carnegie School of Education at Leeds Beckett University. As well as becoming one of the best-performing providers of teacher education in the country, we have developed a reputation for innovation in our teaching, curriculum and partnership work. As a result of growing student numbers, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational Lecturer in Primary Initial Teacher Education. We welcome applications from those who have experience in Primary with a subject specialism in English. With highly motivated staff, a rapidly growing research culture and a large, effective partnership across the north, successful candidates will bring a passion for the subject, for inclusive education, and will contribute to our reputation as an innovative, values-based School of Education. Candidates should have relevant school experience and QTS. Successful candidates without a Masters or PhD (or professional equivalent) will be encouraged and supported to register for it.
