Middlesex University, London, is recruiting a Graphic Design lecturer to join the BA Graphic Design programme.
We are looking for a lecturer to work within the Graphic Design area of the Visual Arts Department as an active member of a teaching team delivering excellence in all areas of Graphic Design with an emphasis on their own subject specialism appropriate to the needs of the student body.
You will be joining an established team of academics and technicians delivering a Graphic Design degree to a very diverse student cohort in the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries at a London university.
The role will be held by an experienced practitioner and developing academic who combines professional practice activities with learning and teaching and a broader contribution to their programme. The role involves working collaboratively with the academic team to ensure that the programme meets the needs of students, industry, and the wider organisation.
Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a coherent and effective curriculum that reflects the needs of the discipline and prepares students for their future careers. You should be willing to contribute to the strategic direction, leadership, and management of the Graphic Design programme.
You will have teaching experience at Higher Education level in Graphic Design and will be a creative practitioner with knowledge and experience of current graphic design practice in areas such as: Branding, Typography, Digital design, social design and design for sustainability, UI UX, Web Design, Moving Image and AI.
