Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our Pre-Op Administration Team.
You will form part of a team, administering the EPAQ dashboard (electronic patient assessment questionnaire), issuing questionnaires to patients, chasing incomplete questionnaires, and managing patient exceptions.
You will work as a member of the Pre-op administrative team, as well as providing a professional and courteous first point of contact for all staff and visitors attending the Pre-operative assessment units at both Royal Preston and Chorley Hospital acting in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
You will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, ability to use your own initiative, work within a team and be able to work under pressure to ensure targets are achieved.
As part of the booking services team you will be expected to show flexibility and provide cover, if required, at times of annual leave or extended sickness for their colleagues.

- Perform an ambassadorial role, representing the Pre-op Department administration service acting in a professional, courteous and customer focused manner at all times.
- Administering the EPAQ dashboard (electronic patient assessment questionnaire), issuing questionnaires to patients, chasing incomplete questionnaires, and managing patient exceptions
- Contact patients with bookings information, liaise with other departments to schedule patients as appropriate, answer telephone and email queries, take messages, direct where appropriate, meet and greet and provide assistance directing visitors to the department to appropriate locations.
