About the role:
As part of this exciting project, we are seeking to grow our team with the appointment of a Lecturer (Full or fractional) with expertise in Computer Gaming Technology and a particular interest in teaching OO Programming, AI for Games, Games Physics, Engine Integration (both for Unity and UE4/5), Mobile application development, Producing/releasing mobile games for Android and Apple devices to undergraduate students. We are interested in candidates with experience of distance/online/blended learning, work-based learning, and degree apprenticeship delivery.
The post holder will play a vital role in the development and delivery of a new suite of industry-ready degrees, distance learning, and short courses. You will develop relationships with industry and use these to support curriculum development and enhance the student experience.
With experience of Computer Gaming Technology in practice, we are looking for a team player with a proven track record in course design, teaching and industrial application. You will be able to work to tight deadlines, working independently with minimum supervision and liaising closely with senior colleagues from our partners and key stakeholders.
