Job description
We are seeking a Lecturer in Art and Design to join our Creative Arts and Media division to teach effectively on a range of Graphics and/or Fine Art programmes across the College curriculum and to provide an excellent learning experience for all students. The different subjects taught within our Art department are; Fine Art, Graphics, Textiles and Photography.
To apply for this role, a related degree, a recognised teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and experience of teaching and/or experience within Fine Art and/or Graphic Design industry demonstrated with a high-quality portfolio.
Knowledge of contemporary and historical contexts, current issues, trends and theories in Art and Design is essential. You will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year and commit to continuous professional development to maintain high professional standards and subject specialisms.
The salary for this post is £30,016 – £35,819.
