We are currently seeking an experienced educator to join our Applied Arts department, providing teaching across various materials and disciplines at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of practice-based delivery, supported by a strong professional portfolio, particularly in Jewellery and Metalwork.
The role demands versatility across various materials, with an emphasis on expertise in at least one specialist craft discipline, ideally Jewellery and Silversmithing. The candidate will be entering an established subject area and will be instrumental in driving its further growth and development, both in studio-based and online provisions.
This role carries the potential for Programme leadership, including overseeing Quality Assurance processes and liaising with External Examiners. The successful candidate will be tasked with cultivating a dynamic, practice-based environment where students can flourish and excel.
Additional responsibilities may include delivering lectures as a member of a flying faculty team and contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of our relationships with partner institutions. Participation in recruitment and retention activities is also a vital part of the role.
