Learning Support Assistant or SEND 1:1
Permanent Contract Term-time only - 39 weeks per year 27.5 hours per week
Scale 3 points 4-5 (dependent on experience)
Actual Salary £13,471.17 - £13,716.57 per annum
Richard de Clare Community Academy, Halstead, are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and nurturing LSA or SEND 1:1 to join our friendly and welcoming team. We require applicants to have a minimum Early Years Educator Level 2 (or equivalent) and good literacy and numeracy skills.
Our ideal candidate will be a reliable and flexible person who genuinely enjoys providing particular support to children with learning, communication, social, sensory and or physical difficulties.
Suitable applicants will need to demonstrate patience and show a commitment to supporting children with individual academic, welfare and medical needs. An ability to be a positive member of a team is essential and a sense of humour would be a bonus. We are looking for an addition to our wonderful team who has the energy and enthusiasm to make a difference!
