We are a high performing, popular school on the outskirts of Norwich and are currently seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and experienced team.
The successful candidate should be prepared to work across KS2, providing a combination of in class, small group and one to one support. The successful candidate will be working under the direction of the class teacher and/or SENCO, ensuring that all children receiving additional support do so to a high standard, encouraging independence and enjoyment in learning.
Children at Drayton Juniors are polite, friendly and welcoming, exhibiting high standards of behaviour. They value high quality relationships with adults across the school. Positive interactions between staff and pupils is a definite strength of the school.
The post would be ideal for someone looking to further a career in education. Therefore, whilst we value commitment, patience, hard work, initiative and good humour above any qualification, the successful candidate will need to have studied English and Maths to at least GCSE/O level standard.
