Joining our CS Support, you'll be providing actuarial support to the business teams by completing complex calculations.
This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to start their career in an Actuarial team or those looking to further develop their understanding of the Life and Pension sector. For those interested, we also provide support for anyone looking to complete their actuarial exams.
You'll be:
- Completing complex manual calculations to support business enquiries
- Providing responses to complex policy enquiries to support other business areas
- Updating and testing regular changes to systems including regular bonus updates, policy fee updates and premium rate changes
- Completing regular reporting tasks as required
- Supporting mainframe migrations and changes, in particular specifying the calculations to be migrated to new systems
You should apply if you:
- Have a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Are proficient in Excel
- Have excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Are highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Are knowledgeable in SQL and VBA (desirable)
