About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Learning & Development team (part of our People Development function) as a Learning Specialist. The role will be part of a team of 8 with some exciting ideas when it comes to the creation and delivery of learning content.
Day to Day you'll be responsible for a variety of projects where you will design and deploy fully blended learning journeys for all Drax colleagues – here in the UK and in partnership with our learning colleagues globally.
You’ll be encouraged to think innovatively and seek out ideas that will continually drive our learning offerings to ensure we are meeting the demands of the Business now, and in the future. You’ll work with a variety of stakeholders across the Business and be a true learning expert using our digital learning team to provide complimentary resources for our learners.
Last year’s projects that should excite you include our Inclusive Management Programme, and digital for all We Belong e-learning, our blended Management Excellence Programme, Not So Trivial Pursuit and Who Wants to be a Millionaire digital compliance learnings and this year we will be looking at virtual avatar learning facilitators, virtual and augmented reality learning interventions, bite size learning and understanding our customers better through the production of learning personas!
About you
You’ll have experience of designing, developing and evaluating high quality, interactive blended learning solutions and will have demonstrable knowledge of the principles of instructional design in a virtual, hybrid and classroom-based environment. You will be an experienced facilitator able to put these principles into practice to delivery an outstanding result for your customers.
If you are accredited with a personality profiling tool such as Insights or Saville wave that would be beneficial to support the delivery of these programmes across our business areas.
