Job description
We are looking for a hardworking team member to join our newly built manufacturing plant. Our workplace is solar powered and air conditioned, we work to GMP standards for cleanliness and hygiene. We manufacture liquids, powders, sachets, gels and tablets for a variety of end users including healthcare. We blend, fill and package our own goods as well as producing in house product labels for our customers throughout the world.You will be engaged in a variety of packaging operations using machines and the completion of orders for customers from stock. You will work from picking lists to ensure products are labelled and packaged correctly, palletised and despatched within set time frames.Responsibilities include:Following order picking listsQuality assurance – meeting product specificationsHealth & Safety – observing safe practiceHousekeeping – keeping work area clear and cleanLiasing with colleagues as required.You will need to be able to show:Drive to get the job done.High levels of flexibility and ability to change direction at a moments notice.Good communication skills.Materials handling, this role requires some heavy lifting. A counterbalance forklift licence is an advantage.Experience with computerised sales order processing would be an advantage.
